Founded in 1926, Rolling Green is one of the country’s top classic, private golf clubs committed to the sport of golf. The Club is situated on 157 rolling acres and is one of William Flynn’s historic designs. As the original founders defined the purpose of the club, "...to make it a shrine where the skill and ingenuity of the lover of the game could have full play".
Rolling Green will be celebrating its 90th anniversary this year by hosting the third oldest USGA championship, the U.S. Women’s Amateur. This will be the second USGA championship contested at Rolling Green in its history. The first was the U.S. Women’s Open in 1976 where JoAnne Carner defeated Sandra Palmer by two strokes shooting a 76 on the additional round of play to conclude the tiebreaker.
As the Club prepares for a multi-million dollar renovation later this fall, there are wonderful opportunities for both members and guests alike to host outstanding parties, outings, banquets, and something for that special occasion.
We look forward to seeing you soon at Rolling Green Golf Club.
